Magdalena

The base plates of christmas crib Magdalena are based on a tetragon, a geometric shape of similar quadrangles. The plates can be arranged in squares and a lot of other figures – like a “tangram”. Each quadrangle has two right angles, each at opposite sides, and two sides of the same lenght in parallel position to each other. Therefore two of the plates with the same side length can be placed next to each other.

Put the figures into the holes on the base plates by use of the pin. Adjust the figures according to the position in the crib arrangement. The plates are reversible because the holes on the base plates are provided as through holes. So there are even more options for individual arrangements of the crib (excluding plates with glued sheep figures). It is possible to purchase separately each plate with a theme such as “Holy family with stable”, “The three wise men” or “Group of sheperds by the fire” and to extend it to a large crib step by step.

All of the figures are made of natural materials, the used woods appear in natural wood colour and grain. The gifts of the king are of incense, myrrh and massive brass (instead of gold). The crowns are of silver wire, copper wire and brass wire, the coats of aniline leather. The camp fire bowls are lasered of black steel, the sheep are wrapped with natural virgin wool.
